Why Warm Vinegar Detox Baths Are The New Trend

Written by: Drew Canole

I love starting or ending my day with a bath – don’t you? I mean, who doesn’t love soaking in a good detox bath?

Truth is, we’re all running around like a bunch of filthy animals! Okay, maybe that’s a little harsh, but seriously!

Our environment, food supply, stress… you know the drill. I talk about these things all the time, but I do it because they’re real problems and we need to work together to take care of ourselves!

I spend most of my time teaching people how to detox from the inside out… drinking green juice and Organifi, cleansing, eating foods to heal the gut and fill your cells with micronutrients… but there are some excellent and revitalizing ways to detox from the outside in, too!

Epsom salts, essential oils, baking soda… there are a lot of great natural ingredients you can put in a bath to boost health and reap incredible benefits!

But the latest popular ingredient to put in your bath may be a bit of a surprise. It doesn’t smell as good as essential oils, but it is a lot cheaper and is probably sitting in your cupboard right now! In fact, I am willing to bet that everyone reading this now absolutely has this common ingredient in their kitchenWhat am I talking about?

Vinegar. But not just any vinegar (hint, you know we love this at Fitlife).
Yeah, you heard me right. So grab your trusty bottle of apple cider vinegar and let me show you how to make a powerful detox bath that will balance pH, kill infections, soothe your skin, reduce body odor and leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated!

How To Take An ACV Detox Bath

It’s simple… all you do is fill up a bath with warm or hot water and then add 1-2 cups of apple cider vinegar. Soak for at least 20 minutes for the best benefits.

To make the bath REALLY awesome, here are some additional add-ins:

ACV is also great for your hair, so let your hair soak in it too if you want soft, shiny hair. Once you are finished with your bath you can take a cool shower or just let the vinegar dry on your skin.

Apple cider vinegar is a staple in my kitchen! Not only is it great for a detox bath, but it is also good for digestion and immune system function.

A lot of people use the excuse that they don’t have enough money to be healthy.

But you don’t need to be a millionaire to live a healthy lifestyle, you can be a college student on minimum wage and still be making enough for stuff like this!

So stop making excuses and start living a healthier lifestyle today! I promise you can afford it if you do a little research into what affordable options are out there. Remember, we’re in this together.
